To be considered, your book must:

  • Fit within our store’s overall curation and values

  • Have a visible, professionally printed spine (no staple-bound books)

  • Be a title that readers are actively seeking or excited to discover

Da Book Joint is proud to support authors and storytellers through meaningful community events—without charging event fees.

Here’s what you should know:

  • We operate on a consignment model for book signings:
    60% of all sales go to the author, and 40% to the store

  • Authors must have an anticipated audience of 20+ readers/guests

  • Events are tailored to your vibe—we offer multiple formats:

    • ✍🏾 Author Talks

    • 🎤 Open Mics

    • 📖 Readings + Discussions

    • 🥞 Brunches or Literary Mixers

    • 🎶 Creative Blends with Music & More​
